Maibatsu Sanchez
RumoredDirt bike · Trailer 1 (Dec 4, 2023), per press identification
The Maibatsu Sanchez, the series' staple dirt bike since 2002, was identified by press in both GTA VI trailers — Rockstar hasn't named it officially.
Trailer 1’s most meme-ready moment — a pack of riders wheelying down a Vice City street under a Weazel News chyron reading “Dirt Bike Dirt Bags” — put dirt bikes at the center of GTA VI’s street culture from day one. Press identified the bikes as the Maibatsu Sanchez, the series’ longest-serving off-roader.
Why it’s labeled Rumored
The “Dirt Bike Dirt Bags” gang name is visible in official footage, but the bike model name is not. The Sanchez identification comes from outlets matching the trailer bikes to the familiar series model, with a similar sighting reported in Trailer 2’s chase footage. Until Rockstar prints the name, this page stays Rumored — the same standard applied to the Declasse Tulip and every other press-identified vehicle here.
Series lore
The Sanchez debuted in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002 and has appeared in nearly every entry since, becoming the default answer for jumps, trails, and stairwell descents. Maibatsu is Rockstar’s Mitsubishi-flavored Japanese brand. A dirt-bike gang fits GTA VI’s Florida setting — and Rockstar’s Extended Look leaned into car-and-bike culture broadly, with racing, mod shops, and a stolen-vehicle economy covered in the features tracker.
What is NOT confirmed
Whether Jason or Lucia ride a Sanchez in the story, off-road handling details, and the bike’s actual in-game name. The only bike Rockstar has named itself is the Ultimate Edition’s Dinka Enduro — nothing official puts a name on the trailer dirt bikes.
