Why it’s labeled Rumored

Rockstar has not printed the name “Tulip” in any GTA VI material. The identification comes from automotive and gaming press matching the car’s body lines to the existing GTA Online model — solid reporting, but still analysis rather than an official fact. On this site that distinction matters: Rockstar has only named vehicles through edition bonuses like the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, so press-derived entries like this one stay marked Rumored until Rockstar says otherwise.

The Tulip joined GTA Online in 2019 as Declasse’s take on the 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. Declasse is Rockstar’s Chevrolet analog, and the Tulip’s four-door Sport Sedan proportions make it an unusual pick for a hero car — which is exactly why its battered, vinyl-roofed appearance in the trailer reads as deliberate character work.
