Ultimate Edition buyers get a personalized variant of the ES9 with detailed engravings — Jason’s counterpart to the engraved Klose K17 that goes to Lucia. The pairing confirms two things about the base game: each protagonist has a signature pistol, and the Girardi ES9 is Jason’s. Lore context

Girardi is a new manufacturer name — earlier games leaned on fictional gunmakers like Hawk & Little, Shrewsbury, and Vom Feuer, and Girardi doesn’t appear in those rosters. The Italian-sounding brand and “ES9” designation suggest a nine-millimeter service pistol in the Beretta mold, which suits an ex-Army character like Jason. That reading is our analysis, not Rockstar’s description.

What is NOT confirmed

Damage, capacity, rate of fire, attachments, and how weapon customization works in general — none of it has been detailed. Rockstar also hasn’t said whether the standard ES9 differs from the engraved Ultimate Edition version in anything but looks, or how ammo and holstering behave moment to moment.
